Tools needed :
(1 ) Platform - Pc running backtract
os. Or android that has backtrack.
(2) SET - Social Engineering Toolkit,
Available On Backtrack.
(3) Brain - To Sense wat is wrong n
wat is right, n to follow dis
procedure.
Step 1 : Open “Social Engineering
Toolkit” in Backtrack 5 by Opening
ur backtrack console & Typing
cd /pentest/exploits/set
Step 2 : Once d directory is opened,
Type
"./set"
to fire up d social attackin kit.
Step 3 : Now select option number
7. This modul allows u to specially
craft SMS messages n send em to a
person. u can spoof the SMS source
if u wanna, its not dat hard.
Step 4 : Now select option 1
"Perform a SMS Spoofing Attack"
Step 5 : Select how d “spoofed-sms”
should distribute, u could send it to
many people or just one, ur choice.
Step 6 : Now u need to enter d
number of the receiver (victim),
make sure to enter with country
code. Example : +9188260xxxxx for
India.
Step 7 : Now select 1 for pre-
defined Templates, dat is helpful to
newbies, of-course u can create ur
own.
Step 8 : On this step u need to
choose the templates,I will choose
the “Boss” one, u can use according
to ur situation.
Step 9 : Now u need to select d
service which wil send dat crafted
SMS u created, u can choose
whatever-the-hell u want,If u hav
an Android Emulator that is just
great.
